We constructed the garden for a newly built house. The client requested a modern Japanese-style garden using moss and maple trees. We used Ontake stone, which easily grows moss, as an accent, and Shirakawa gravel enhances the mossy island.
A sudden visit from the clinic director resulted in immediat for the waterscape of his large saltwater aquarium, he chose Benikamo stone, a representative Japanese gemstone. At first, I was worried whether it would be suitable as a suiseki (viewing stone), but the aqua blue lighting and the vivid red of the Benikamo stone create a truly fantastical waterscape. This experience gave me a much-needed boost to my thinking about universalizing ideas, and I learned a great deal. It was a stimulating job that fueled my desire for improvement.
