Garden renovation tailored to the generation, resolving the major stress

The way ancestral land is managed should naturally evolve alongside the changing lifestyles and perspectives of successive generations. This project was commissioned by a dynamic daughter-in-law deeply committed to preserving her family's legacy. She had already conducted her own online research and even carried out some of the preliminary work herself; because she had such a clear vision and plan for the land's future, we were able to coordinate material preparation and scheduling smoothly. Addressing her request to "prioritize weed control while preserving the garden stones from the previous generation," we carefully selected three stones from the existing collection to create a curated stone arrangement. This feature transformed the backdrop—which could easily have become a sterile expanse of fencing and crushed stone—into a unique, atmospheric space defined by a harmonious blend of natural elements. We sincerely hope this area will eliminate the stress of weeding and become a convenient, welcoming gathering place for the family.
