These are the samples of Ohta Niwaishi’s proposal drawing.
The client’s ideals were a minimum maintenance of the plants and having a bridge in the garden like a Japanese ZEN garden. According to the client’s desires, I proposed the whole layout design including a bridge. There is the scene of the (dry) stream from a little hill running under the bridge, then fertilizing the ground cover plants.
To create the garden more Japanese like, I suggested to introduce the natural materials and use the natural undulate and curve line. I was not sure the size of this site, but Japanese ZEN garden design is available to create in any scale.
It is important to consider suiting to the external appearance of residence and a surround scene, and also selecting the color, size and texture of the materials, too. We would repeat the discussions and propose toward to a client’s satisfaction.
