Shikokuishi is famous Japanese garden stone for Aoshi (Blue Stone), but Akaishi (Red Stone) is also produced.
Similar to Aoishi, it has also white and dark spots and formed in various shapes. When it dry, it is gentle red and the garden turns glorious. On rainy days, it is clear red and brightens the garden.
It is Akaishi collected in the same area as Awa Ao. It has a good shape and is easy to use.
