As the Japanese garden material of Landscape Ohta Niwaishi, we will introduce Mikage Fumiwake Ishi, Roppou Seki, Washbasin, Stone Mill・Stone Mortar.
Fumiwake Ishi (separation stone of passage) 御影踏分石
It is a large size Fumiwakeishi. It will be able to use as a Toro stand. You can put anythig you like on it.

Roppou Seki (Hexagonal Stone) 六方石
Roppou Seki has a distinctive shape that the hexagonal cross section. You can use them for columnar or object in the garden. It is utility for the part where you want to give stereoscopic effect, and Landcape Ohta Niwaishi often use them for both utility the objct and the earth retaining. Recently, It is difficult to find domestic supply, almost obtaining from overseas. The image below is from China.

Cyouzu Bachi / Tsukubai (Washbasin) 手水鉢・ 蹲
If the garden has a taste of water, It will be more luxury and relaxing. This old washbasin was all hand-carved by mason.

Stone Mill 1 (Ishi Usu) 石臼
Sometimes tiles and old Stone Mills are used for a pavement. Stone Mill, which is no longer used, is reused for garden material and breathes back.

Stone Mortar (Ishi Usu 2) 石臼
These are the stone mortars for pounding rice cake. The surface is carved by a hand chisel. Due to hand-made, the size is different one by one. Stone Mill, which is no longer used for, will be reborned as a washbasin, or for aquatic plants or for goldfish.
